Boxed Quarter Mural - "Freedom_1”

This mural was painted in the Boxed Quarter (in Ōtautahi Christchurch), considered the place with the largest selection of street art in New Zealand, with the support of Resene.

'Freedom_1' portrays beauty that breaks with Eurocentric aesthetic standards. It manifests the invisible and celebrates the genuine. Self-acceptance paves the way to female mental health. This mural is an invitation for other Birdwomen to be encouraged to take their flight of freedom.

St. Albans, Christchurch - "Freedom_2”

This artwork is dedicated to sparking conversations about women's mental health. My artistic expression features unclothed bodies, presented through a female gaze and non-sexualized perspective. This nudity symbolizes concepts such as freedom, self-care, fragility, and strength. 'Freedom_2' is a part of a series of paintings where I depict Birdwomen.
